1. Information we collect
You can browse the directory and read comments without an account. If you sign in with Google to comment, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo. We store these details to create and secure your account. Your email address is never displayed with a comment.
When you publish a comment or reply, we store its text, associated business, author, parent comment when applicable, and creation and update times. We may also process basic request information such as IP address and browser details for security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate your account and keep you signed in securely.
- Publish your name, profile photo, comments, and replies.
- Let you delete your own comments and let moderators address abuse.
- Prevent spam, fraud, and unauthorized access and maintain the service.
3. Services and sharing
Google provides account authentication, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps distinguish legitimate activity from abuse. Our application and database run on infrastructure providers. These providers process information only as needed to supply their services and under their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not display your email address with comments. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.
5. Retention and your choices
We keep account and comment records while they are needed to operate and protect the community. Deleting a comment removes its text from public view while retaining a placeholder so that replies remain understandable. Security records may be retained for a limited period.
You can sign out at any time. To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, email hello@sfmongols.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
6. Children and changes
The commenting service is not directed to children under 13. Do not use Google sign-in or submit personal information if you are under 13.
